Another weekend gone & still no work in the garden but Brad the tiler turned up & tiled the last of the splashbacks. That was last week...I am now waiting for Brad to come back & grout! Lucky he is a nice guy. Instead of progress pics on the bungalow here are some pics of the mid-eighties brick veneer home we brought when we first moved to Townsville a few years ago. We brought the house because of the garden, which we later found out won Townsville's best new garden of the year & best native garden of the year...the awards were quite a few years ago but the garden still looked pretty good to us.

Lots of palms & hedges & (oops) curves not circles ; ) |
The sunken lounge - so very 80s or is it 70s?? |
Typical eighties - lots of exposed brickwork & arches |
The kitchen we did nothing too |
ensuite |
A very narrow ensuite which was in its original condition - we ripped everything out & started again.

We knocked down the wall & combined the toilet / bathroom & we knocked down the arched brickwork that framed the original bath..
So no work on the bungalow but I did manage to freshen up the blog - a change of colour and a little bit of pattern added ... : )
OMG!!!! That is one stunning garden! And I love those curves ;)
