The beginnings

In a couple of years the trees will be flowering

This weekend our Rainbow Shower Trees arrived from Bundaberg. The trees arrived along with the consignment of trees for the Townsville City Council Flinder's Street Mall redevelopment.

We planted the trees on either side of the path leading to the front door. In a few years time the trees should meet and form a canopy providing much needed shade in Summer. The trees are quite flexible and don't tend to snap in cyclonic winds...cross fingers.

Handmade

After a couple of years waiting to be framed the needle works by mum's CWA group are finally framed and hung.
